“I was disgusted” – Skip Bayless loses his sh*t at Dak Prescott’s Cowboys after shock OT loss to Jaguars

Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys lost a stunner to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. They held a 27-10 lead before collapsing and eventually losing in overtime 40-34. It was a stunning loss for a team that suddenly doesn't resemble a real contender.

If the Cowboys want to make the Super Bowl, they're going to need to eliminate games like this one. They were also fortunate to win against the lowly Houston Texans last week.

Skip Bayless, perhaps the biggest Cowboys fan in sports media, was irate after the loss.

The Cowboys blow a 17-point lead in OT loss vs. Jaguars:

"I was disgusted by much of what I saw. My Cowboys have been looking ahead to the Eagles since the game in Philly." — @RealSkipBayless https://t.co/pCVEzuq9Qs

On Undisputed, he lit into the Cowboys:

"I was disgusted by much of what I saw... My team has been looking ahead to the Philadelphia Eagles actually since the game in Philadelphia in which they trailed only 20-17 early in the fourth quarter with Cooper Rush at quarterback and my defense could not stop Jalen Hurts on three straight third downs."

Bayless believes that the team was looking ahead to next week's crucial matchup with the one-loss Philadephia Eagles. A win there would have done a lot for their division title chances, but now that they trail by three games, it doesn't likely matter if they win or not.

The game still repesents Philadelphia's chance to cement home-field advantage and lock down the division, so it matters, but the Cowboys inability to take the Jaguars seriously has now cost them dearly and bothered Bayless immensely.

Can Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys win the NFC East?

The NFC East currently has four playoff caliber teams. It might not end up that way at season's end, but they have four genuine contenders who could take all the wild card slots.

In all likelihood, that top Wild Card (the fifth seed) will go to Dallas. They trail Philadelphia by three games now as Dak Prescott's interception streak continued on Sunday.

They need to win out and hope the Eagles lose another game on top of a loss against the Cowboys, which is far-fetched to say the least. All is not lost, but the division has suddenly slipped almost entirely out of reach.
