"I gave every f*cking detail" - AJ Brown shockingly reveals he leaked all of Titans' plays to Eagles
AJ Brown has said that he spilled the beans about the Tennessee Titans' offensive plays with his new team after getting traded to the Philadelphia Eagles
Brown spent the first three years of his NFL career with the Tennessee Titans. He quickly became one of the best wide receivers in the league, racking up more than 3,000 yards and 24 touchdowns. He was then shockingly traded to the Eagles during the 2022 NFL draft. In his first year with his new team, he set new career highs in receptions, yards, and touchdowns.
During his first year with his new team, Brown faced off against the Titans during the 2022 season. He shared his experience of the situation during a recent episode of the "Raw Room" podcast. He also revealed a massive secret about how he was able to help his own defense with the Titans' offensive playbook.
"I can say this now that we've already played them, I gave every detail to Philly. I gave every f*cking detail. I gave it all bro, like because they don't change nothing. I talked to the guy, I talked to one of the defense guys who was like, 'Hey, what does this mean? What did it mean?' I said, 'Bro just send me a game film, and I'll tell you all the sh*t.' I gave every little detail. Everything. They don't change none of that. I'm like we were in the same play like a million times."
If Brown did have inside information about the Titans' offense, it's a failure of the latter's coaching staff, as they seemingly failed to deal with the departure of one of their primary players.
That may be one of the main reasons why the Eagles dominated the Titans during their Week 14 game this year.
AJ Brown's knowledge of Titans offense helped Eagles put dominant performance
The Eagles demolished the Titans when the two teams faced off in the 2022 NFL season, earning a 35-10 win.
AJ Brown's information about the Titans' offensive plays seemed to pay off for the Eagles' defense. The Titans recorded just 209 total yards and struggled to move the ball at all from start to finish. If the Eagles knew many of their opponents' play calls, that helps explain things a bit.
AJ Brown also contributed to his own offensive production in addition to preventing the Titans offense from getting going. He turned in one of his best performances of the 2022 season with the added motivation, recording eight receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns.
