“I’ll pay for the divorce”- NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe once revealed how he wanted to date a married woman

Undisputed host and Hall-of-Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe is one of the most popular sports personalities in the industry.

He's known for his fast-paced talking, energetic attitude, and passionate takes. He and Skip Bayless are two of the best co-hosts in the sports world, and almost every debate has some funny takes.

Once things got a little off track, Sharpe opened up and spoke to Bayless about a time he helped finalize a divorce.

Sharpe recalled a time when he paid for a woman's divorce because of how badly he wanted her on Undisputed.

“I was once dating this chick Skip and she was married when she was getting a divorce. I knew I wanted her. I said, You know what? I’ll pay for the divorce, because I believed she was the one. That's what I did, I said, Why are you arguing about this? He wouldn't sign the paper. I say Why are you arguing about this little bit of money? I gave him the money, filed the divorce.. I did that!“

That's quite the story to tell on national television. It's unclear who that woman was and what her relationship is with Sharpe these days.

Shannon Sharpe has played tight end in the NFL from 1990-2003. Sharpe played for the Denver Broncos and Baltimore Ravens. He retired as one of the best tight ends in league history.

Sharpe is a three-time Super Bowl champion and made eight Pro Bowls. and was selected to four All-Pro teams. He retired with 815 catches for 10,060 yards and 62 touchdowns.
