Trevor Lawrence's wife Marissa recaps opulent baby shower in heartfelt post: "I’m so grateful"
Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence and his wife Marissa are expecting their first child in the coming months. The couple made the pregnancy announcement in June and shared they were expecting a baby girl just a few weeks later.
Although they haven't revealed the due date, Marissa Lawrence shared photos of her baby shower this weekend. The theme was "Baby in Bloom" as seen in the photos she posted on Instagram. She called the day "a dream" and that she was grateful for all of the strong, loving women in her life who would also love her daughter.
"Yesterday I got to have the baby shower of my dreams ✨💐 Thank you everyone who came out and celebrated me and baby girl. She is already so loved and I couldn’t be more proud to know such amazing, beautiful women!! They say it takes a village & I’m so grateful for mine! I love you guys and thank you for making this day truly so special." -Marissa Lawrence on Instagram.
Trevor Lawrence wasn't in attendance at the baby shower as it was a ladies-only celebration. Marissa wore a white, lace dress and the outdoor celebration had flower decor and arches. There was also a station where attendees made their own bouquets.
Trevor Lawrence's wife Marissa celebrated birthday
Before the Jacksonville Jaguars hosted the Minnesota Vikings at home on Sunday afternoon, Trevor celebrated his wife Marissa's birthday this weekend. Since family and friends were in town for the couple's baby shower, there was also time to celebrate her birthday as well.
She shared photos in a carousel on Instagram of herself, Trevor Lawrence and their friend group. She added a caption saying how grateful she was to be spending her birthday weekend with her "favorite people."
"Kicking off the birthday weekend with some of my favorite people ✨ I’m so grateful to have so many amazing family and friends in my life. I love you guys."-Marissa wrote on Instagram.
Trevor won't suit up against the Vikings as he is dealing with an AC joint sprain in his throwing shoulder. Backup QB Mac Jones will run the offense.
