"I’m totally different" - Tom Brady's admirer Veronika Rajek shuts down comparisons with his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen
Through constant Instagram stories and posts, model Veronika Rajek has been in the limelight for supporting Tom Brady.
Rajek has openly cheered the Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB, even attending a Bucs regular season game, In fact, fans were quick to link the NFL star to the Slovakian model.
Even though the two might not have had a proper interaction yet, Rajek is consistent with her support.
In a recent interview with The US Sun, Rajek ended up mentioning Brady's ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen. Considering her growing reach and admiration for Brady, Rajek ended up drawing some comparisons to the Brazilian supermodel.
While Rajek only had compliments for the 42-year-old, she did not agree with them being compared.
"Gisele is one amazing woman and she inspired me," Rajek said. "People compare us but I am not Gisele. I’m Veronika - I’m totally different. She is amazing, she is one of a kind. I love every post that she shares."
Rajek continued to talk about Victoria’s Secret, a brand Bundchen represented early on in her career.
"My dream was always to be a Victoria’s Secret model - but I was born too late so what can I do? I admire older models more like Adriana Lima and Victoria’s Secret models - they’re like the best of beauty and behavior."
Apart from Bundchen, Rajek also idolizes Naomi Campbell and referred to her as 'one amazing woman'. Coming from a country of only 20,000 people, Rajek admitted that the experience was different, and her parents were scared of her traveling alone.
"I was in different countries for two or three months, learning how to live alone and work out my emotions. My hometown in Slovakia has 20,000 people so you need to leave home and show the world you exist".
Why was Veronika Rajek reminding people of Tom Brady's ex-wife?
Tom Brady's 2022 NFL season ended with a wild card loss against the Dallas Cowboys. Rajek, who was supporting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, ended up defending Brady and his performance through an IG story.
"I'm just sorry. But one guy cannot play for everyone on the field. TB you did your best. Like always. But one piece of puzzle doesn't make a picture," she wrote.
Last year, Bundchen was seen defending Tom Brady in a similar fashion in ESPN's documentary, "The Man in the Arena". Bundchen's quote was about the 2012 Super Bowl, which they lost to Eli Manning and the New York Giants.
"My husband cannot f---ing throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time."
While the Bucs season is over, one can expect more Tom Brady-themed posts from Rajek, especially with his future in the league always in discussion.
