"I had to make some adjustments" - Gisele Bundchen's supermodel lifestyle needed some changes after having kids with Tom Brady

Even if one is a supermodel or athlete, priorities can change over time. For Gisele Bundchen, it was her children with Tom Brady. As the former couple married and settled, the Brazilian supermodel's career took a bit of a backseat.

Of course, the 42-year-old did not stop working completely but shifted her focus from runways to a few endorsements and magazine covers. Considering Gisele's popularity and status in the industry, the move could not have been as easy as it looked.

In an old interview with People, Bundchen spoke in detail about her shift in priorities, which was due to her children and how demanding it can be. Though some people assumed she had retired, Bundchen clarified that it was merely a change.

“I had to make some adjustments from what my life was like before I was a mom,” Bundchen revealed. “My kids are so fun and loving, but they are also demanding!”

She continued to speak about schedules, and how it had become important to manage her family.

“For me, making schedules are critical to make sure we attend to all the needs of the kids and our family,” she added. “After adding everyone’s schedule on the calendar, I make sure that everyday I have some sacred time for myself, so I can recharge.”

While Bundchen might continue to be picky about her work, it might be time to refocus on her career again.

Before her divorce was finalized, reports ended up talking about her work, and how it might take the front seat amidst the turmoil in her private life. Apparently, Bundchen is so busy she had to turn down a few offers.

However, her focus is in no way a comeback for the supermodel.

"“She has never gone away,” the source told Page Six. “She is a powerhouse. These girls — the supers — are still so celebrated.”

Furthermore, Bundchen has been taking her kids along with her for work trips. She recently attended an event in Brazil, making a trip out of it with her children. It was also Bundchen's first appearance to a formal event post divorce.
