“I think he wants to go out on his own”- Aaron Rodgers’ Packers future still uncertain, according to teammate Aaron Jones

Where or will Aaron Rodgers play in the NFL next season? Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones spoke about Aaron Rodgers' future on FS1's "Undisputed" live from Glendale, Arizona, on Thursday.

Jones said that he believes that his quarterback will return next season. He said that after all of these years in the league, he thinks that Rodgers wants to go out on his own terms and that playing another season and doing just that is what will happen.

"I think he'll be back," Jones said. "I think he wants to go out on his own. Like, if he's retiring, I think he wants to go out on his own, right? So, I definitely see him coming back and playing, and I hope definitely it's in Green Bay. He's a great leader for us, and, you know, a guy like that he brings a lot of people along."

Jones also spoke highly of backup quarterback Jordan Love and how he feels he is ready to start when the time comes.

Aaron Jones' comments came as Aaron Rodgers is expected to embark on a four-day isolation period called a "darkness retreat" where he will be alone with his thoughts. Rodgers said he had planned to do this exercise for a long time and just now decided to do it, even before the season ended.

In June, the Packers quarterback will speak at the Psychedelic Science Convention at the Denver Convention Center. There will be about 300 speakers, including the Packers quarterback, at the event.

Last offseason, he went on a trip to South America where he indulged in ayahuasca, a plant that brings a psychedellic outcome after drinking it. He has attributed drinking ayahuasca to finding peace and leading him to love playing football again.
