"I wear the coach's hat": Kylie Kelce opens up on managing post-retirement chaos with Jason Kelce

Jason Kelce's retirement has brought a new routine into his family's life, but wife Kylie handles the new "chaos" like a pro. During an interview with PEOPLE on Thursday, Kylie shed light on Jason's post-retirement life and how she's turned herself into the family schedule manager.

"Now that Jason is retired from playing football and our girls are heading back to school, our days at home look so different than they did a year ago at this time. At the end of the day, Jason and I are a team, trying to keep our household running smoothly in all the chaos, just like so many other families."

While Kylie expressed that she and Jason work as a team in the house, she noted that she's the one wearing the coach's hat in many situations:

"But I do tend to wear the coach’s hat a lot of the time on our team, which helped during this day on set!"

A week after sharing her career plans, Kylie opened up about her new life. As for Jason, he's preparing for his new NFL analyst role with ESPN. In an interview with PEOPLE, Kylie expressed how she's excited about her husband's new job.

In a different interview with PEOPLE last week, Kylie Kelce opened up about what she thinks of Jason's new ESPN role. Kylie, who also coaches field hockey, said she's excited for Jason to be back at work.

"I am mostly excited to see Jason excel in a new position. I jokingly say it's a pain in the butt that he's good at everything, and I know I'm biased in that, but I truly believe he's good at everything because even if he's not good at the start or the best at the start."
“He will work endlessly and tirelessly until he can achieve that. So, I have full faith that he's going to tackle his new position and excel. I'm really excited to get to watch him do that. And I think it's such a shift from sort of physically exerting yourself to getting to sort of showcase your intellectual ability and the way that you analyze games," she added.

In fact, in a previous interview, Kylie revealed that it was her lifelong dream to attend the Olympics, which came true earlier this year when the couple attended the 2024 Paris Olympics.
