IN PHOTOS: Baker Mayfield's wife Emily captures special moments from Bucs' 33-16 win vs Eagles
Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers claimed a 33-16 win against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday. Mayfield threw for 347 yards and two TDs as the team improved to 3-1.
To make matters more special, Tom Brady returned to a Bucs game, but this time as an NFL broadcaster with FOX.
Mayfield's wife, Emily, was also at the game with the couple's daughter Kova Jade. Emily shared multiple moments from the game, including the game itself, Brady meeting Baker Mayfield, and their family's sideline moments.
She started by sharing a reel featuring her and Kova Jade greeting Mayfield on the field. They embraced quickly, as the Bucs QB was getting ready to play.
"My babies," Emily wrote on Instagram.
She added a few more of the same, while also including a clip from the game.
Of course, Emily ended up sharing Mayfield's moment with Brady. The two QBs had a brief interaction with each other. However, Brady did go viral for his in-game reaction to Mayfield's comments.
The current Bucs QB referred to Bucs' 2020 season with Brady as 'stressful', and how the team signed him to lighten up the atmosphere. Brady disagreed with this by saying they were locked in to win the Super Bowl, and it was not a daycare.
Mayfield responded again, highlighting that none of the comments made were personal, and were taken out of context.
Baker Mayfield and wife Emily are focusing on bettering their community
Mayfield and his family's popularity in Tampa Bay is not just because of the QB's impressive performance. Not only is Mayfield focused on leading the team, but the family has already started giving back to the community.
Emily Mayfield shared a heartfelt message as Hurricane Helene hit Tampa, even evacuating out of their home for safety reasons. Emily was devastated by the calamity and hoped to reach anyone who they could help.
Earlier, the two of them also donated $17,900 to a local high school. This was to help them acquire new football gear.
