In Photos: Baker Mayfield's wife Emily Wilkinson recaps daughter's first NFL game
Baker Mayfield's wife, Emily Wilkinson, attended the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' last preseason game against the Miami Dolphins, bringing their daughter, Kova Jade, to her father's first NFL game. On Saturday, Wilkinson shared some memories from the day in an Instagram post with the caption:
"Football is back baby ❤️🏈🏴☠️"
Wilkinson shared a carousel of photos from after the win against the Dolphins, including captures with Mayfield and Kova, as well as a group picture with Buccaneers' wives and girlfriends, including Vita Vea's wife, Alexus. She also shared a sweet clip of Mayfield holding their daughter, who was wearing a t-shirt with her dad's initials and receiving a forehead kiss from him.
Mayfield has made a good name for himself in the league, and last month, the quarterback completed seven years in the NFL. His wife didn't miss the chance to celebrate the occasion.

Baker Mayfield made an appearance on the "Pardon My Take" podcast last month, during which the quarterback recalled a story about a UFO sighting. Mayfield was on his way back home from a dinner date with his wife, Emily, in Austin when the couple saw a strange light.
"Driving home from dinner in Austin," Mayfield said. "When we’re driving home, we’re about to cross the dam between Lake Travis and Lake Austin. And we’re looking out. It’s really dark out there. The screen on the car’s real bright. Emily’s in the passenger seat. She’s looking at her phone.
"This circle-shaped object, bright as hell, literally just goes straight down. It was so bright that she looked up and saw it too. And it just completely disappeared. I put that out on Twitter. People thought I was hammered. I was just driving home, not under the influence either. ... But there were other people that reached out and said they saw the same thing." (Time stamp: 1:30:00)
Baker Mayfield is ranked among the top five most important players of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After missing out on the Super Bowl last season, the franchise will be on the lookout for another Super Bowl after their 2021 win.
