The 2024 NFL season was going outstanding for the San Francisco 49ers star Brandon Aiyuk until his injury against the Kansas City Chiefs. The season has ended for the wide receiver who suffered a torn ACL and MCL during Sunday Night Football. Aiyuk's fiancée Rochelle Searight was cheering for him at the game and recently recapped her experience on social media.

On Wednesday, Rochelle Searight shared her best memories from the 49ers' SNF loss to the Chiefs on Instagram and TikTok.

The post featured Rochelle's pictures from the Levi's Stadium. In the caption of her TikTok post, which showed Aiyuk warming up, the social media influencer wrote:

"last game of the season 😓❤️"

During the Chiefs vs 49ers, Brandon Aiyuk injured his right knee, which later turned out to be a serious problem for the wide receiver. ESPN later reported that Aiyuk tore his medial collateral ligaments and anterior cruciate of his knee. It will require surgery, thus ending the 2024 season for the wide receiver.

Brandon Aiyuk got injured in the second quarter of Sunday's game. Brock Purdy attempted to squeeze a pass to the wide receiver between Trent McDuffie and Chamarri Conner to gain 15 yards. But as McDuffie and Conner converged on him, Aiyuk's knee hyperextended, leading to his immediate exit from the field.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan recalls calling Brandon Aiyuk following SNF injury

During his Monday press conference call, coach Kyle Shanahan revealed calling Brandon Aiyuk following the game. Recalling his conversation with the wide receiver, the 49ers head coach said:

"I talked with him last night, called him at his house... He was hurting and just bummed out, you know, exactly how you'd expect. But BA is a strong dude and a spiritual guy, and he believes everything happens for a reason. So, he'll be all right," Shanahan said.
"But he was definitely a little down last night. I was just telling him how bad I felt for him and just let him know we're all here for him through this," Shanahan concluded.

The 49ers had a long contract dispute with Brandon Aiyuk until they settled for a four-year, $120 million extension in August. However, no one thought that the wide receiver's season would end almost two months after his contract extension. Brandon Aiyuk finished the 2024 season with 25 catches for 374 yards.
