While the running back was up for NFL Comeback Player of the Year (Geno Smith from the Seattle Seahawks won), it still appears from the photos that he and Olivia were having a good time.

As far as who he wants to win the Super Bowl, his answer was short, sharp, and straight to the point.

McCaffrey said via KNBR:

"I hope both teams lose."

The running back added that the pain of losing to the Philadelphia Eagles weeks ago is still rather raw, so much so that he may not even watch the game on Sunday.

The 26-year-old has had a tough time with injuries throughout his career, but when healthy, he is many people's choice as the best running back in football. That proved to be true this season as due to his superb output, he was nominated for NFL Comeback Player of the Year.

While he didn't win, his stats were simply outstanding. After being traded by the Carolina Panthers, the running back found his way to Santa Clara and the 49ers.

He finished the season with 1,139 rushing yards and eight touchdowns, while also adding 464 receiving yards and four touchdowns for good measure.

He was named an All-Pro for the first time as he dominated most of the games he was in. The 49ers are hoping that with a healthy CMC next year, they can go one better than what they did this season.
