IN PHOTOS: Dolphins WR Braxton Berrios and girlfriend Alix Earle pose as Ken-Barbie for Halloween shoot
Braxton Berrios had a blast with girlfriend Alix Earle this Halloween, as the couple dressed as Barbie and Ken. On Friday, Earle took to her Instagram to share a handful of pictures from her Halloween photoshoot with the Miami Dolphins wide receiver.
The two recreated a big replica of a Barbie doll box:
"The Ken to my Barbie @braxtonberrios."
"Hi Barbie," Berrios replied in the comment section.
Interestingly, this isn't the outfit that Alix Earle initially wanted to go for this Halloween. In Thursday's episode of the "Hot Mess" podcast, Earle said:
"Thing is, my last costume, which I do kind of want to say might be my best costume this year, I'm not going to be able to wear it because I'm going to be in Miami. And there is a party going on in Miami. But I'm not going to go, like, Braxton's literally getting back from surgery." (58:57)
"I'm not going to leave him and go to a party, so I'm going to save my costume that I had made, which was really upsetting. I had like so many fittings for it," Earle concluded.
Alix Earle recalled the moment she learned about Braxton Berrios' injury
Braxton Berrios tore his ACL during the Miami Dolphins' Week 7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. In the same podcast episode, Alix Earle recalled when she heard the news:
"I was listening to the Dolphins game on my headphones. I was listening to the game the whole flight, so I didn't sleep on the flight. And then we landed, and I went to go get coffee in the airport, and I like to put my headphones back in to listen to the game. I turned it on, and right as I turned the game on, they said, like, Braxton Berrios in the tent with an injury." (3:30)
"That's just like the last thing you want to hear. Also, just like, he was out in the game, and I was listening to a live stream, so I couldn't see the game. So, I didn't know what type of injury. Like, that could mean anything. I'm in the airport, like, I literally felt all the blood rush from my face," Alix Earle concluded.
Braxton Berrios had successful surgery on his ACL earlier this week. Earle shared an emotional note attached with a picture of Berrios from the hospital.
