In Photos: Jake Browning's girlfriend Stephanie Niles stuns at Bengals preseason opener
Jake Browning made his first appearance of the NFL preseason on Saturday evening for the Cincinnati Bengals. The quarterback took the field after starter Joe Burrow played just one drive in the matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Browning had support from his girlfriend Stephanie Niles, who was in the stands at Paycor Stadium. Niles shared photos on Instagram of her preseason game day look with the caption,
"football is BACK & so am i (lol get it?)"
In the photos, Stephanie Niles can be seen wearing a denim halter top with the quarterback's initials in Bengals' orange. She then paired the look with jeans for the full monochromatic denim look.
Niles also re-shared a photo of Jake Browning walking into Paycor Stadium that was posted on Instagram by the Cincinnati Bengals.
"ummmm....wait....omg"
Jake Browning finished the night completing 10 of 18 passes for 52 yards and one interception. He also ran for five yards on two attempts. The Bengals dropped the first preseason game to the Buccaneers 17-14.
Stephanie Niles recalled reaction to Jake Browning getting opportunity to start for Bengals
Jake Browning started the 2023 NFL season as the backup to Joe Burrow. However, the 2021 NFL Comeback Player of the Year suffered a calf injury and then a season-ending wrist injury in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens which led to Browning getting an opportunity. His girlfriend Stephanie Niles recently spoke about the moment he entered the game and where she was.
In an interview with Clear Vision this summer, Niles said that she was in Idaho watching, and she had no idea Browning would enter the game.
"You know, I remember like when he went in, I was at a bar with my friends in Idaho." said Stephanie Niles.
Niles continued:
"And I was like, 'Holy s***, like I can't believe like, what are we doing right now?' And my friend was like, isn't this the point?' And I realized, 'Yeah, this is the point,'" she added.
Niles would then go on to attend every Cincinnati Bengals. In the team's season finale home game against the Cleveland Browns, she went viral for wearing an all-white ski suit with Browning's number on it with a matching orange hat.
