The couple began dating when they were students at the University of Alabama. Scott then joined him in New England after he was drafted by the Patriots in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. The two moved to Jacksonville this past offseason when he was traded to the Jaguars.

Jaguars HC Doug Pederson called out Mac Jones for his 'Patriots ways'

Mac Jones may have been drafted in the first round by the New England Patriots but his status with the team began to dwindle last season. Rumors of a feud between him and former coach Bill Belichick circulated last offseason.

He was then benched in favor of backup Bailey Zappe and the news of Jones getting traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars this offseason wasn't shocking to NFL fans.

Jones is now backup to fellow 2021 first-rounder Trevor Lawrence in Jacksonville. Jaguars coach Doug Pederson said that while the quarterback impressed during training camp, he reverted to his old habits from his tenure with the Patriots.

“Mac has played extremely well the last couple of weeks and really has bought into what we do. He’ll still revert back to his Patriot ways every now and then and we got to remind him he’s in Jacksonville."-Pederson told the New York Post in August.

Mac Jones started 42 games during his three seasons with the New England Patriots. He had 8,918 passing yards and 46 touchdowns during that time. After an impressive rookie campaign, his production started to lag the following two seasons which led to his eventual departure from the team.
