IN PHOTOS: Matthew Stafford's family comes together to welcome Christmas at home

Ahead of Christmas, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford's wife, Kelly, shared a glimpse into their holiday celebrations' preparation. She posted a Carousel Post and shared two pictures on Instagram.

The first showed Matthew and Kelly Stafford posing for the camera with their four daughters, Chandler, Sawyer, Hunter and Tyler. The girls wore gymnastics leotards instead of casual clothes. In the backdrop was a well-decorated Christmas tree.

Meanwhile, the second picture featured a lovely father-daughter moment with Matthew lifting one of his daughters to place the star atop the Christmas tree.

On top of it, the Rams’ Friday win against the San Francisco 49ers added to the family’s celebration.

Playing through heavy rain, the NFL QB threw for 160 yards in the first half of the game, including 137 in the drier second half.

Talking about the gritty win, Matthew Stafford said:

“In the second half, the weather was good enough to do it all. We had the feeling that that was the kind of way this game was going to be played and it’s going to have to be one of those games. We scored 44 four nights ago and come out here and score 12 but they both count for one.”

Now, the team stands second in the NFC West with an 8-6 record. This is the Rams' third consecutive win.

Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly shares an update about her daughters' unique attire for holiday celebrations' preparation

After the Rams defeated the 49ers on Friday, Kelly Stafford reposted a story from Nadyne Parr, a personal coach, which read:

“We needed this win. Thanks for your leadership, Matthew. Ten days off now for you to be a gymnastics dad.”

In her IG repost, Kelly added:

“And now we go sit and watch our girls compete."

It is clear why Matthew Stafford's girls (Chandler, Sawyer, Hunter and Tyler) were sporting gymnastic attires. With gymnastics, it looks like the girls have taken after their mother, who had his cheerleading roots at the University of Georgia.
