Stafford's wife Kelly posted an Instagram story on Wednesday, featuring a clip in which she can be seen taking kids to school. The kids won their father's jersey number, even when Kelly convinced them to wear the Los Angeles Dodgers jersey.
"Jersey day at school.. I even tried to get them to wear dodgers considering.. but nooppeee. Also walking to school>>>" Kelly captioned her Instagram story.
Matthew Stafford and Kelly are parents to four daughters named Tyler, Chandler, Sawyer, and Hunter. All are huge fans of Travis Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Kelly took Tyler to a book fair and shared her daughter's Swift-inspired shopping list on her Instagram story.
Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly opened up about struggles taking kids to Rams home games
Kelly Stafford's Instagram story came less than a week after she opened up about her struggles taking kids to Rams home games. In the latest episode of The Morning After podcast, Kelly expressed how she feels that kids' VIP tickets for Matthew's games are an unnecessary expense. Opening up about the same, she said:
"There’s this section in the suite where the food is and you can sit and have a cocktail or something to eat, and my kids are sitting there coloring. I’m going, ‘Hey, there’s a reason I bring you to these games. To be honest, this is a wasted ticket. You could do this at home, watch on TV and color.'" (2:07)
"As much as I really want them to be there because I know their dad wants them there, I’m also like, 'Am I wasting money bringing you to these games?'" Kelly added.
After cheering for Matthew Stafford at Rams vs. Raiders, Kelly and the kids look forward to supporting the quarterback in the Week 8 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
