Patrick Mahomes might not have been physically present at yesterday's ESPYs, but his aura could be felt during the ceremony. His mother, Randi Mahomes, attended the event, wearing a glistening one-shoulder dress.
There, she took some images with Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry was a winner that night, receiving the Pat Tillman Award for Service for founding the Invictus Games, a sporting event for military personnel who have sustained injuries or illnesses while on active duty.
As for the three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback, he won Best Athlete in Men's Sports and Best NFL Player. Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid accepted the awards on his behalf, saying:
"I've been around this kid for few years now. To watch him grow as a football player, as a teammate, as a leader has been phenomenal. But more than that, to watch him grow as a father and as a husband has probably been the best part of that. We're very lucky to have him in Kansas City."
The Chiefs were nominated for Best Team but lost to the University of South Carolina women's basketball team.

Being Patrick Mahomes' teammate usually gets someone close to his family, whether it be his wife Brittany and their children Sterling Skye and Patrick Lavon III aka Bronze, his brother Jackson, his mother Randi or even his half-sister Mia Randall.
As it turns out, Travis Kelce is one of those people. He also has a special nickname for Randi: "Mama."
Speaking to PEOPLE at the ESPYs, she complimented the star tight end as "such a ball of energy." She also spoke about meeting her son's teammates:
“It feels almost like a little family, you know. I love that. I love meeting Chiefs players because you don’t always get to meet them all.”

Speaking of Brittany, there will soon be another member of the Mahomes family soon. The couple announced the development in a video that they jointly posted on Instagram:
