IN PHOTOS: Patrick Mahomes shares victory parade pictures alongside Brittany Mahomes with Chiefs Kingdom in adoration
The Kansas City Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes are celebrating their second Super Bowl victory in four years. With Andy Reid returning for another season, some are predicting a dynasty for this Chiefs team.
Aside from the obvious ring and all that comes with being able to call yourself a Super Bowl champion, one of the best parts of winning the Super Bowl is the victory parade that follows.
Mahomes, who now has his second Super Bowl and second Super Bowl MVP, basked in the glory of the parade as he celebrated with Chiefs fans after another successful season.
We can see from the pictures that Patrick is clearly enjoying himself and why wouldn't he? Another Super Bowl, another Super Bowl MVP, and he is regarded as the best quarterback in the league right now.
He was also snapped with his wife Brittany, who has been by his side since day one. While celebrating with his teammates and Chiefs fans, being able to celebrate with his loved ones is surely one of the better things about the entire experience.
Are Mahomes and the Chiefs ready to create a dynasty?
The word dynasty gets thrown around way too loosely for some people, but in the Chiefs' and Mahomes' case, is it warranted? Looking at how each season has panned out since Mahomes became the starter, the word dynasty seems to fit.
In his five years as a starter, the quarterback has made it to the playoffs every year and won two Super Bowls. Furthermore, his playoff record reads 11-3. That'll work.
He also has led the Chiefs to the AFC Championship (2018), Super Bowl (2019), Super Bowl (2020), AFC Championship (2021), and another Super Bowl (2022).
That's not bad for a player just five years into his career.
Some argue that he has "only" won two Super Bowls and thus does not qualify as a dynasty, but that is two in five years and he has reached or been very close to the Super Bowl every other season.
If he wins another Super Bowl next year, the Chiefs will almost certainly have a dynasty on their hands...if they don't already have one.
