In Photos: Patrick Mahomes spoils his wife Brittany to a dream baby shower

Patrick Mahomes is having great success on the field and his Kansas City Chiefs are 5-2 after defeating the San Francisco 49ers 44-23. The superstar quarterback is also winning off the field and gave his wife, Brittany, a baby shower only a few could dream of.

In June, the recently married couple held a private ceremony to reveal the gender of their second child. During the ceremony, almost all the guests predicted it would be a boy.

The Super Bowl-winning quarterback gave his prediction as to the gender of the child after Kansas City's minicamp: Mahomes said:

“I’m extremely excited. The gender reveal is coming up soon. Hopefully we get a boy, but I’ll love him or her either way. It’s going to be awesome.”

The couple picked up squirt guns with blue and pink water. Ultimately, the blue water came out of the squirt gun, meaning Brittany is having a boy. After the reveal, the 2018 NFL MVP took a jump into the pool to possibly cool off.

The next question is what the couple will name their second child. We'll just have to wait for that answer.
