In Photos: Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany recaps adorable moments with daughter Sterling at Chiefs vs Ravens
Patrick Mahomes' wife Brittany and daughter had a special pre-game moment on Thursday night. Brittany shared a series of pictures on Instagram with Sterling, the couple's first kid.
The pictures show Brittany and the toddler on the sidelines, smiling and posing for the camera, as well as having a moment with the three-time Super Bowl champion quarterback before the Chiefs vs Ravens game started.
Sterling was born in 2021. Her brother, Patrick, was born in 2022. In July, they announced their third pregnancy, which was later revealed to be a girl. Mahomes and Brittany have been together since high school and have become one of the most popular couples in the NFL.
They are set to be parents of three, and Mahomes embraces his role the same way his parents did.
"I'm going to teach my son, my daughter all the fundamentals and whatever they want to learn. But at the same time, I want to let it be about them," he told NBC's Football in America in 2022. "That's what my dad did growing up, that's what my parents did. They didn't pressure me to do anything. I think that's why I'm in the position I am today."
Patrick Mahomes, Chiefs escaped first game of the season in dramatic fashion
On Thursday night, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs had to wait until the game's final second to know if they secured the win against the Baltimore Ravens. It took long for the visitors to get things going, but Lamar Jackson and Baltimore put Kansas City in a complex position in the final minutes of Thursday's night game.
Jackson led a potential game-winning drive with multiple passes, including a 38-yard dot to Rashod Bateman. Ultimately, the Ravens couldn't capitalize on their position on the field after Jackson threw a pass to Isaiah Likely. He landed with the tip of his right foot on the line and it was ruled out of bounds.
Mahomes and company showed that they could be a dynamic offense from the get-go, trying to involve the new faces Xavier Worthy, Carson Steele and even JuJu Smith-Schuster as they tried to close out a hard-fought game.
The Ravens tried but couldn't score, losing the game 27-20 at Arrowhead Stadium.
