IN PHOTOS: Rashee Rice's girlfriend Dacoda Nicole Jones recaps vacation with Chiefs WR amid assault investigation
Rashee Rice has had his share of legal issues lately. First, it was an accident at the North Central Expressway in Dallas in late March where he and another unnamed man caused a multiple-vehicle collision. Then, he was suspected of attacking a man at a downtown nightclub, although he was never formally arrested.
That has not stopped the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver from enjoying his life, however. On Monday, his girlfriend Dacoda Nicole Jones went to Instagram to share images of their recent vacation in Cabo San Lucas:
The two were seen enjoying some family time with their kids by the pool and the beach in Cabo. Jones had a picture on a boat while wearing a pink dress, and another snap saw her and Rice enjoying the Cabo sea on a boat.
Rice commented on his girlfriend's post:
A brief profile of Rashee Rice Dacoda Nicole Jones
Not much is known about Dacoda Nicole Jones, including when she met Rashee Rice. But what is known is that she is very active on social media, posting content on Instagram and TikTok.
In fact, she even had a heated exchange with Allahbia Mitchell, girlfriend of San Francisco 49ers running back Jordan Mason, after the Chiefs won Super Bowl LVIII.
She also has two sons with him: Kassai, born in 2021, and a second son who was born in February 2024, shortly after said Super Bowl, but whose name still has not been identified. A TikTok video of the latter's birth can be seen below:
Rashee Rice attends Chiefs OTA’s amidst legal troubles, could face multi-game suspension
Coming off a vacation, Rashee Rice is back in the grind. On Monday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that he was present when the Chiefs began OTA’s on Monday. After his vehicular incident, he joined Phase One of the voluntary offseason program.
However, even participating in practices does not preclude an exclusion from in-game action. Writing last month for The Athletic, Nate Taylor said that even if the charges against him were dismissed, the NFL could still suspend the 2023 55th overall pick in accordance with its personal conduct policy, which defines a violation of it as “conduct that poses a genuine danger to the safety and well-being of another person.”
A couple of Rice’s Chiefs teammates, Charles Omenihu and Willie Gay, have fallen afoul of this. The former was arrested in January 2023 (he was a 49er at the time) for suspected domestic violence and was suspended for six games. The latter, meanwhile, drew a four-game suspension in relation to a property damage incident.
