IN PHOTOS: Rob Gronkowski's girlfriend Camille Kostek remembers final year as Patriots cheerleader in emotional post
Camille Kostek and Rob Gronkowski met while she was a cheerleader for the New England Patriots. Her tenure with the team's cheerleading squad was over a decade ago and this past weekend she reminisced about her time in Foxborough.
In her Instagram post on Thursday, Kostek shared photos of her time with the New England Patriots cheerleading team. She also shared her sentiments about what it meant to be a part of the team.
"This time 10 years ago was the start of my final season taking the field @gillettestadium as a New England Patriots Cheerleader. And Super Bowl XLIX (Patriots vs Seahawks) was my final performance to end my dance career as Super Bowl Champs!!!
I’ve often imagined through the years while watching the Patriots play from the stands and watching the cheerleaders as a proud alumni, what it would be like to get that game day rush walking onto the field to perform one more time … or feeling the electricity from the 70,000 fans above us, lining up for players tunnel and dancing with my teammates again.
"WELL this past Sunday at the Patriots home opener against the Seahawks, I got to relive it all one last time," Kostek wrote on IG
The New England Patriots hosted the cheerleading alumni from the 2014 team this past weekend at Gillette Stadium. Kostek and the other cheerleading alumni spent all week learning a new routine and then performed in front of the Patriots fan base during the Week 2 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
Camille Kostek shared more photos from the 2014 NFL season, which included a Super Bowl win by the New England Patriots.
