Trevor Lawrence's wife Marissa opened up about the emotional backstory of their first pregnancy
A month after announcing their first child together, Trevor Lawrence's wife Marissa took to Instagram to share the emotional journey of her pregnancy. She recalled a heartbreaking moment when the doctor declared miscarriage and started preparing her for the same.
"We go to our first appt, and based off my last period, I should’ve been measuring 6 weeks. Our Dr. at the time had the sonogram up and basically said she is not seeing what she would expect to be seeing at 6 weeks and prepared us for a miscarriage. We left the dr office crying and confused," she said.
Marissa further revealed how doctors decided to wait for the results of blood tests before coming to any conclusions. When they got the results, doctors presented the couple with a strong possibility of a miscarriage. A week later, the miscarriage was announced as a safe pregnancy instead.
"Well, now fast forward a week, I am still having to monitor my hormone levels.. and my levels double. And then they double again… so the assistant who works for the Dr tells me congratulations," Marissa recalled.
Marissa Lawrence has started to experience early side effects of pregnancy. While there are multiple complications to pregnancy, Marissa feels there's one specific issue that isn't talked about much.
