"Such a fun night."
Marissa Lawrence's date night came almost a day after she posted pictures from her trip to New York City. The social media influencer visited Niagara Falls, and in the pictures she shared on her Instagram, she can be seen adoring her baby bump while posing in front of the waterfall.
"Took wittle girl on another adventure," Lawrence captioned her Instagram story.
Trevor Lawrence and his wife Marissa announced their first pregnancy in June earlier this year. Following the announcement, Marissa opened up about an emotional scare that came along with her pregnancy.
Marissa Lawrence shares news of pregnancy scare on social media
There was no confirmation of Marissa Lawrence's pregnancy for a long time. It was initially declared as a miscarriage by doctors, which left the couple heartbroken for days. Following the pregnancy announcement, Marissa opened up about this incident on Instagram.
"We go to our first appt and based off my last period I should’ve been measuring 6 weeks. Our Dr. at the time had the sonogram up and basically said she is not seeing what she would expect to be seeing at 6 weeks and prepared us for a miscarriage. We left the dr office crying and confused," Marissa said.
The couple had lost hope for the baby, but the doctors didn't give them any confirmation since they were waiting for the reports of blood tests. When the tests came, it was hinted that the miscarriage might be confirmed. However, a week later, doctors came forward to confirm a safe pregnancy.
"Well now fast forward a week, I am still having to monitor my hormone levels.. and my levels double. And then they double again… so the assistant who works for the Dr tells me congratulations," Marissa recalled.
It's an emotional incident for the couple. Later, Marissa revealed that she had tears in her eyes when she shared the news with fans.
