The offseason has been full of great news for Trevor Lawrence. After getting himself a $275 million contract extension with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the star -quarterback recently announced that his wife Marissa Lawrence is pregnant with their first child.
On Saturday, the couple threw a grand ice-cream-themed gender reveal party, announcing their baby's gender with an Instagram post. Soon after the gender reveal party, Trevor Lawrence and wife Marissa left for Lake Tahoe to enjoy some quality time.
"Woke up in Lake Tahoe," Marissa said on her Instagram story attached with a picture with husband Trevor.
Following that, Marissa Lawrence shared pictures from her vacation, including snapshots of a deep blue lake with gorgeous mountains in the background and a picture of Trevor enjoying the water. The couple's outing came just three days after the exciting gender reveal.
"Baby girl. Mom & Dad can’t wait to meet you!!" Marissa captioned her Instagram post from the gender reveal party.
The gender reveal party that the couple organized was quite interesting, considering the theme the couple introduced. It was an ice-cream-themed party, with beautiful decorations glorifying the theme. In fact, the couple poured pink syrup on a huge ice cream cone to reveal the gender of their newborn.
The first pregnancy came with new struggles for Trevor Lawrence's wife Marissa
Pregnancies aren't easy, especially when it's a woman's first, and it's obvious to come across struggles that feel new. Something similar happened with Trevor Lawrence's wife, Marissa, who's pregnant with their first baby. Elaborating her pregnancy struggles through an Instagram story, Marissa said:
"The throwing up so hard I cry hasn't been fun tho. Also if you saw me throw up at tacoLu last week, the food is amazing don't be alarmed."
Marissa shared her struggles just a few days after announcing her pregnancy via a combined Instagram post with Trevor Lawrence. Interestingly, the pregnancy came in the same month Lawrence extended his contract with the Jaguars.
The contract keeps him with the team for five more years. According to Fox, Trevor Lawrence signed a $275 million contract with $200 million as guaranteed money. With that, Lawrence became one of the highest-paid quarterbacks in the NFL, alongside Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrows.
