Tua Tagovailoa's wife reacts to his contract extension
Earlier this year, Tua was going through a contract extension battle with his team. There was speculation that he might just skip off-season workouts and stage a holdout till he gets a deal that appeals to him.
However, in a chat with Kay Adams, a close friend Te'o, said that Tua's father would never allow him to do it.
"No, no, even if Tua I wanted to skip it, I know how Uncle Galu wouldn't allow him to skip it," Te'o said. "So it's just one of those things. Everybody's going to talk they're going to create a narrative around different situations, but me knowing Tua, he wasn't going to do that."
Placing his team and its needs above his own paid off in the end. The QB ended up bagging a $212.4 million contract extension, which made him the third highest-paid QB in the league at the time.
Reacting to this news, Annah Tagovailoa had shared two stories on her Instagram. One was a post by Tua, and the story was captioned:
“So grateful for the Dolphins Organization! So proud of my husband you deserve the world! I love you.”
While the second story showed Tua with his son, Ace on the gridiron. The story was captioned:
"It's a great day to be a Dolphin"
With just a few days left before the season kicks off, Tua will be spending all the time he can with his family before football comes calling.
