IN PHOTOS: Zach Wilson's girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno drops dreamy vacation pictures with Broncos QB in Positano, Italy
Zach Wilson has left the United States for a while and he's not alone in doing so. With the Denver Broncos not resuming camp until July 26th, the former New York Jets quarterback recently traveled to Italy with his girlfriend, Nicolette Dellanno
Shown below are images that were taken in Positano, a town on the Amalfi Coast:
This comes after Dellanno went on vacation with some friends at an undisclosed location last week. At the time, Wilson had just concluded the mandatory minicamp earlier than scheduled.
Looking back at the times Zach Wilson and Nicolette Dellanno have been together since they started dating
The Zach Wilson-Nicolette Dellanno relationship began in June 2022, just after he split from Abbey Gile amid rumors of cheating on her with one of his mother's friends. Their first public sighting was at a Yankees game, which was also attended by some of the 2021 second overall pick's Jets teammates Tyler Conklin, CJ Uzomah, Conor McDermott, Mike White and Dan Feeney.
The next time these two were seen together would be on vacation in Lake Powell, Arizona with some friends during the 2023 offseason. After that, they spent a few days in the Bahamas with Nicolette's family.
Wilson then used the Jets' October bye week to return to Utah and visit the Corn Maze and Pumpkin Fest. Nicolette was among the people who joined him.
With the team eliminated from playoff contention, he then used the extended break to fly himself and his girlfriend to Bora Bora. And then, shortly, after he was traded to the Broncos, they returned to Lake Powell. Their current vacation in Italy represents their first outside America.
Zach Wilson reveals new hairstyle amid reports of falling behind in Broncos' QB depth chart
Also on the same day, fans got a shock when the Broncos revealed the first images of Wilson in their uniform. Gone was the well-kept short hair; instead, it was longer and slicked back:
The hope is that with the new hairstyle comes a new and more successful chapter of his career, but The Athletic's Nick Kosmider does not sound optimistic:
"Wilson looks like someone who may need more time to adjust to Denver’s offense, even more so than [rookie Bo Nix]. Perhaps training camp could alter the equation, but at this point, it’s hard to envision Wilson starting for Denver in Week 1. And he has ground to make up if he’s going to win the backup job."
Summer practice will include a joint session with the Green Bay Packers on August 16, two days before their preseason game.
