Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth has announced his engagement to girlfriend, Jillian. On Monday, he shared four pictures of the romantic proposal he planned for his lady love.
The NFL TE proposed to Jillian in Boston, Massachusetts, on a rainy day. Sharing the engagement pictures, he shared his excitement to walk down the aisle with Jillian, writing:
"Forever with you sounds good to me … cannot wait to marry you, Jillian"
Pat Freiermuth went down on one knee to propose to Jillian outside a building. He donned brown pants along with a white T-shirt and matching shoes. Jillian also looked elegant in a white dress and white footwear she wore. She carried a brown purse.
In the first snap, Freiermuth, sitting on his knee with a diamond ring, surprised Jillian with the proposal. In the second slide, he shared the diamond ring purchased for his girlfriend. In the third slide, both posed while Jillian showed off her ring. He posted another snap of the surprised reaction Jillian had as he asked her for marriage.

Congratulations have been in order as Pat Freiermuth announced his engagement to Jillian. Several of his teammates congratulated him.
Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph shared a sweet message on the fellow player's engagement:
"Boston's Royal Family," he wrote.
Steelers TE/FB Connor Heyward also reacted to the post, posting a red heart emoji, while LB Tyler Matakevich congratulated the couple and commented:
"The King of Boston!!"
Freiermuth's fiancée, Jillian, reacted to the post:
"My whole entire heart❤️ Let’s have a wedding!!!!!"

Fans also sent their best wishes to the newly engaged couple.
"Absolutely perfect! Congratulations you two! So beyond happy to watch this next chapter of your life together!," a fan wrote.
"Congrats!," another added.

Freiermuth has been with the Steelers since 2021 after becoming their second-round pick in the draft. Last season, he recorded 653 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
