“Inexcusable”: Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt's wife Tavia accuses government of prioritizing illegal immigrants with $2,500/month payout scheme
Kansas City Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt's wife, Tavia, has some questions for the American government. Never afraid to speak her mind publicly, Tavia accused the federal government of prioritizing illegal immigrants over American citizens in an Instagram story on Wednesday.
As per Tavia Hunt, the government is allegedly giving illegal immigrants $2,500 per month. Tavia referred to this situation as "inexcusable," urging the government to prioritize U.S. citizens first.
Sharing a video on her story, she wrote:
"A dangerous game has been played with illegal immigration. And paying illegals $2500/mo when American families are struggling. Inexcusable. Facts."
Tavia was responding to a video about illegal immigration, which alleged that the Kamala Harris and Joe Biden administration was playing around with immigration.
However, the reports of an over $2000 per month payout might not be legit. According to the AP News, people seeking asylum are granted some money during resettlement, but nothing is as high as $2,200 per month. They even have some public health benefits, but nothing recurring.
AP News further doubled down on social media usage and how most people have been spreading false rumors about the payout. It explained further, adding that no one staying in the U.S. illegally can get such benefits unless certain groups and refugees are an exception. This cash assistance would then come from the federal government.
Chiefs owner Clark Hunt's wife Tavia has previously accused the government of misdirecting FEMA funds
Earlier this month, Tavia Hunt accused the U.S. government of misusing $1.4 billion worth of funds. Meant for Hurricane Miltion and other relief, Tavia claimed the Federal Emergency Management Agency did not utilize them properly.
As per Tavia, FEMA allegedly redirected over a billion dollars of taxpayers' money over the past two years for immigrants due to their open-border policies. She brought up DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, who claims they do not have enough funds for hurricanes hitting Florida.
"DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas now says the agency doesn't 'have enough funds for hurricane season. And last Monday we sent another $5.7 BILLION to the Ukraine. But there's no money for AMERICAN CATASTROPHES," Tavia said.
With the presidential election right around the corner, one can expect Tavia Hunt to continue speaking her mind on matters about the U.S., FEMA and illegal immigration.
