"It's real": Travis Kelce shuts down people questioning relationship with Taylor Swift

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce cleared the air regarding rumors about his breakup with pop star Taylor Swift. Travis’s clarification came on his podcast, “New Heights,” where their co-star from "Grotesquerie," Niecy Nash, was also a guest.

The 54-year-old actress shared how people often texted her, asking about Travis’s relationship status with Swift after they began working together. So, when she had the chance, she confronted Travis directly.

In response to Nash’s words, Travis said:

"You know it’s real. And you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy. And I appreciate you always making sure everybody knows that."

Earlier in the interview, Neicy Nash revealed that she doesn’t let people get information from her about Travis and Swift. She describes herself as a “vault” and goes to great lengths to keep nosy people out of their business.

As expected, Travis thanked her while advising on how to handle such questions.

"Every time someone has a mic in front of you and asks you something like that, thank you for always showing love,” Travis said.

Travis Kelce swiftly handles his break-up rumors

The rumors arose after Swift missed a few Chiefs games this year, sparking speculation. An online document, a supposed "break-up contract," also circulated on Reddit, spreading quickly. However, Travis’s PR team denied these claims and promised to take action against the mischief.

Swift, on the other hand, had valid reasons for her absence; she’s been focused on her Eras Tour, which began in March of last year and will continue until December.

Interestingly, the couple has shown some public displays of affection since the rumors began, which Travis jokingly referred to as a “comprehensive media plan.” They’ve been spotted at multiple events, from a Yankees game to the U.S. Open, and were most recently seen having dinner in New York earlier this month.
