Jalen Hurts' agent ends rumors of A.J. Brown beef in 3 words as Eagles send 'shut up' message with 27-13 win
Two storylines were all anyone could talk about leading into Week 15 - one pertained to Niners Pro Bowler De'Vondre Campbell pulling an Antonio Brown-like exit in the middle of the game. The other was slightly less controversial but took center stage regardless after Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown made it public that he was not happy with being ignored by the offense, putting the onus on Jalen Hurts to get him more involved.
Brown's very public comments led to criticism from the talking heads in the media circuit as they branded him a diva. Those comments were put on hold this week as the Eagles sent a pretty strong message by beating the Pittsburgh Steelers 27-13. Jalen Hurts' agent Nicole Lynn sent a simple message after the game, tweeting in light of the A.J. Brown controversy:
"Yall good now?"
Eagles fans spammed her comments on social media platform X, lauding the two superstars for putting the Week 14 drama behind them and focusing on the job ahead.
After the game, Brown was asked for his thoughts on the statement win. The Eagles WR answered:
“That was our moment to tell everybody to shut up. Honestly.”
Brown ended the evening with eight catches for 110 yards and a touchdown. Hurts also sent a message with his performance, throwing for 290 yards and two touchdowns while adding a rushing TD to his name.
Where Jalen Hurts' Eagles stand in playoff seeding
As things stand, the Eagles have the second-best chance of ending up as the top seed in the NFC, behind the Detroit Lions, who were just beaten 48-42 by the Buffalo Bills.
Since the Eagles and Lions won't face off against each other for the remainder of the regular season, Detroit still has an advantage over Philly since the first tiebreaker between the two NFC heavyweights will be their conference record. Detroit is 8-1 in the conference whereas Philly is 7-2, which means the Lions are all but confirmed to end up as the top seed in the NFC.
The Eagles have to go up against the Commanders on the road before taking on the Cowboys and Giants to end the regular season schedule. A win against Washington will clinch the NFC East and the No. 2 seed for Philly.
