Jason Kelce might land in trouble with wife Kylie over brother Travis' new FX show 'Grotesquerie'
Travis Kelce is on top of the world; the tight end has three Super Bowl rings and has tried his hands into the acting world as well. However, his new show "Grotesquerie" might be troublesome for brother Jason Kelce.
The Kansas City Chiefs TE's debut acting performance has the fans on the edge of their seats. The trailer has generated a lot of curiosity about his role. Brother Jason Kelce is also in the same boat.
On Wednesday, during their podcast "New Heights," the former Philadelphia Eagles center asked Travis what all fans around the world want to know.
“Are you the bad guy? Are you? Are you the killer?” Jason asked.
“Yeah, you're gonna have to watch Jason. Make sure you have the girls watch this. They're gonna love this show,” Travis said.
On the podcast, Jason was hesitant at the thought of his three young girls watching the show.
“Kylie will murder me. I am gonna have the girls and then in the moment ... is there like a warning or is there a lot of surprises?”, asked Jason Kelce.
“That was completely a joke. Do not let the girls watch this show,” said Travis.
Kelce's "Grotesquerie" will be available to watch on FX, with the episode dropping on Wednesday at 10 PM ET/PT. It will also be available to stream on Hulu.
Travis Kelce receives praise from his director
On Monday, while talking to the press for his upcoming show "Grotesquerie," director Ryan Murphy did not shy away from accolading his debutant actor.
“He (Travis Kelce) really was amazing,” said Murphy as per Deadline. “He worked with an acting coach for several months. He showed up off book. He knew everybody’s lines. He was so professional. He was so committed.”
“He kept saying to me, ‘I’m real coachable. Coach me, coach me.’ So, I did, and he ended up being a delight, and I would love to continue working with him on this and other things. I cannot say enough about him as a leader. He’s just the kindest, sweetest everything you think about him is true.”
Murphy also revealed that the role was written and tailored to fit the nine-time Pro Bowler.
