Jason Kelce's wife Kylie takes 'funniest looking' title away from ex-Eagles star
Ex-Eagles star Jason Kelce's sense of humor is well-known among his friends, family and fans. However, his wife Kylie Kelce wants to take away his "funniest looking" title from him.
Kylie talked about the same during Thursday's episode of her "Not Gonna Lie" podcast. The podcaster revealed how she has been telling Jason that "he's not funny" daily and would soon wish to take away his title of "funniest looking."
"I tell him on a regular basis that he's not funny," she said. "I have to do that because there's so many people that laugh at his jokes and that tell him that he's hilarious um I'll take it. I can be the funniest looking.
"I mean the Kelsey genes are strong. I am a hard outlier because they all look so much alike so I can take that funniest looking. I will take that, and I will be okay with it." (2:14)
"I think that sometimes he forgets that I can actually see his tweets because we were on a phone call shortly after this tweet, and I did say to him, uh 'you know that I can see what you post on Twitter,' and he said 'I don't know what you're talking about' and I said 'oh I'm the funniest looking and he goes 'oh yeah. uh no. You're no. I was. You're beautiful. So wait, a backpedal, dude," she added.
Kylie's statement came less than a week after her husband Jason Kelce revealed an adorable nickname that the ex-Eagles star has for her. Interestingly, the nickname is inspired by a baby kangaroo.
Jason Kelce revealed wife Kylie's 'baby kangaroo' inspired nickname
Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie appeared on Tuesday's "Good Mythical Morning" show. Jason opened up about having an adorable nickname for Kylie. Sharing the details into the same, the retired NFL star said:
"I call her Joe because when she played field hockey, she reminded me of a baby kangaroo, the way she was squatted down. So I called her Joey, narrowed it down to Joe. That's my only nickname." (10:47)
Kylie Kelce had no issues with Jason's nickname for her. However, there are certain pet names she cannot stand being addressed with. Revealing the list of those names, Kylie said:
"(Yeah) That one is fine. There's certain nicknames, sweetie, babe, baby, hun honey, you can only be called that those things by like a waitress in a diner and stuff. And otherwise in Philadelphia, it takes on this sort of like okay hun. Like it's almost like blast your heart. It just feels aggressive in a way that is not welcome." (11:08)
Kylie Kelce's NGL podcast has outperformed Joe Rogan's "The Joe Rogan Experience". Addressing the massive success of the podcast, Kylie thanked fans.
