Jayden Daniels' mom hypes up QB's latest magazine cover feature with $80,000,000 hip-hop sensation
As Jayden Daniels graced Boardroom magazine’s December cover with none other than hip-hop phenom Travis Scott, the Washington Commanders rookie quarterback's mother, MzRegina Jackson, celebrated her son’s feature. Reposting Boardroom’s official Instagram post on her story on Monday, Jackson added two fire emojis to acknowledge her son's latest collaboration.
The cover, titled “Commander in Chief: The Ultimate Co-Sign,” featured Daniels and $80 million worth Scott (per CelebrityNetWorth) decked in football gear.
After winning the 2023 Heisman Trophy while playing for LSU, Jayden Daniels was drafted second overall in 2024. Immediately after his NFL debut, he did not waste time proving his worth.
By the season opener, Daniels rushed for over 80 yards and two touchdowns. In Week 3 against the Cincinnati Bengals, Daniels completed 91.3% of his passes. It set a rookie and franchise record, which led him to earn the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
By Week 5, he was already the first rookie in NFL history to surpass 1,000 passing yards and 250 rushing yards in just five games.
Daniels hit his peak performance against the Chicago Bears in Week 8. He delivered a 52-yard Hail Mary TD to Noah Brown as the clock expired. The play has now been immortalized as the "Madhouse in Maryland." More milestones followed.
By Week 13, he became the first rookie to complete 80% of his passes, throw three touchdowns and add a rushing score in a single game.
Clearly, Jayden Daniels is the future of the NFL. Now, with his latest feature on Boardroom magazine’s December cover, the rookie is commanding the field and dominating pop culture.
Jayden Daniels calls his mother the ultimate judge in a Q&A session with Kevin Durant
While speaking to two-time NBA champion and Boardroom co-founder Kevin Durant, Jayden Daniels credited his mother for making sure he is in the company of the right people both in the NFL and in life off the field.
“Nothing gets past my mama,” Daniels said, hinting at her sharp instincts.
He added:
"She reads people and doesn’t put people around me that don’t benefit me."
Moreover, the Commanders' QB also spoke about his mother's relentless support.
“For her to show up at every game whether it’s sunny, hot, rainy, or cold? She’ll throw on three or four coats and be cheering no matter what, making sure that I’m my best and taking as much off my plate as possible,” Daniels said.
Additionally, other than his mother's support, Jayden Daniels also spoke about the importance of staying close to family, friends and teammates who share his mindset and ambitions.
