Jayden Daniels' mom Regina gives 2-word update on Commanders QB's health after injury scare
Washington Commanders fans have received bad news regarding rookie sensation Jayden Daniels. The No. 2 overall pick went back to the locker room with a rib injury Sunday and was listed as questionable shortly after. He went into the blue tent for evaluation and was seen surrounded by medical staff testing the area.
Daniels' mother, Regina Jackson, shared an update on the young quarterback's situation with a two-word message on X, formerly Twitter.
"He's fine," she tweeted.
Daniels tried to re-enter the game, put on his helmet and warmed up on the sideline but was unable to make it back to the field. He was frustrated by the situation and slammed his helmet down.
Daniels' mother has had a busy week, first becoming a certified NFL agent this week and getting a shoutout from Commanders owner Mark David Ein on Instagram.
"So happy that Jayden's mom is such a big part of this team," Mark Ein wrote.
"So thankful for the support from an awesome owner group!" Jayden Daniels' mother wrote in response.
She made history by becoming the first parent of a top-three NFL draft pick to become a certified NFL agent. Fans now learned the latest about Daniels thanks to her. This is major for the Commanders, as Daniels has become an Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate after leading his team to a 4-2 record and the first spot in the NFC East division.
