Jayden Daniels' mom Regina Jackson sends Commanders QB some love after Week 8 injury update
Jayden Daniels might not play in Week 8 for the Washington Commanders. The QB is suffering from a rib injury and is currently week to week.
Head coach Dan Quinn shared the update ahead of TNF, worrying fans and fantasy managers about the rookie's status. And since Daniels didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday, one can assume the Commanders might not activate him for Sunday.
That being said, Daniels' mother Regina Jackson is one of the QB's greatest supporters. A few hours after the injury update, Regina took to Instagram to hype her son.
"My [heart] in a photo," Regina wrote in her caption.
Regina shared a photo with Jayden Daniels on the field, the former reaching to embrace her son before a game.
Earlier in the week, Regina also sent a message to the Commander's owner Mark Davin Ein.
"So happy that Jayden's mom is such a big part of this team," Mark Ein wrote on his IG.
Responding to it, Regina added:
"So thankful for the support from an awesome owner group!"
Jayden Daniels' mother has become a certified NFL agent for her son
Earlier this month, Jayden Daniels' mother became a certified NFL agent. While many athlete mothers have turned into agents for their children, CBS Sports reported that Regina is the first parent of a top three draft pick to become an NFL agent.
"For her, taking the agent's test is because she wants to be knowledgeable and helping her son and guiding him through his NFL career," Daniels' PR specialist said.
"It's important for her to have all that knowledge so she can give her son guidance, which will help him focus on the field and she can help focus off the field for him."
Earlier, Regina also made news for supporting WNBA star Angel Reese. Supporting her hometeam, the Baltimore Ravens, she also admitted to supporting Daniels (who wears jersey No. 5).
Regina reposted Reese's story, hyping the WNBA star, the Commanders, and her son.
With an MBA in concentration entrepreneurship, Regina has been working towards becoming Daniels' agent since his college days.
