“Not my fault” – Jeffree Star chimes in on Tom Brady’s retirement after NFL wives’ ambush

Tom Brady stunned the world by confirming his retirement exactly one year after his last retirement announcement. While it certainly took NFL Twitter by surprise, Jeffree Star chiming in added to the mystique of it all.

Starr seemed to defend himself on Twitter, clarifying that he was not to be blamed for Brady's retirement.

Star's message, however, seems to be a response to NFL wives reaching out to him about his very recent dating post. Though the identity isn't revealed, Star is apparently in a relationship with an NFL player.

This is not my fault… Repeat: This is not my fault 😂
I’ve never met Tom, but congratulations on retirement! 👀 Wyoming is a good place to retire. twitter.com/tombrady/statu…
"This is not my fault… Repeat: This is not my fault I’ve never met Tom, but congratulations on retirement! Wyoming is a good place to retire," Star wrote.

Star, who last moved to Wyoming, is apparently spending time with his 'NFL boo' in the state.

His earlier tweet shared a message from an NFL wife, who DMed him about people harassing her. Apparently, a few people thought it was the husband of the woman in concern.

"I'm getting harrassed bc my husband is in the NFL and ppl think it's him. Please stop," the message read.
OMG now the #NFL wives are coming after me!!! Girl… Don’t be so insecure.
I don’t mess with married men 😘 https://t.co/kA9wy2yzKM

Of course, Star has been in the limelight since dropping the photo with his mystery man. The YouTuber has been dropping hints on social media, with fans wondering who exactly he is dating.

Jeffree added a orange heart in one of his tweets, leaving many wondering if the player's NFL team colors were in that vein.

"‘Good morning guys. I’ll get to the point right away. I’m retiring. For good. I know the process was a pretty big deal last time so when I woke up this morning I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first," Brady said.

He thanked everyone for their support, including everyone from his family to his competitors. Though Tom Brady has been seen enjoying some downtime in Miami with his kids, he could be considering a role as an analyst in the future after reportedly signing a 10-year, $375m deal to step into the broadcasting booth.
