Jim Harbaugh will accept Broncos job if payday’s on the table, Colin Cowherd claims - “If he's offered $20M a year, he'll take it”

Current Michigan Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh is heavily linked with a return to the NFL. The Denver Broncos have shown interest in him and would leave no stone unturned in getting him if he is the right man to lead them back to prosperity.

The new Broncos ownership is quite rich and wouldn't hesitate in paying Harbaugh a good amount of money. Analyst Colin Cowherd also believes that Harbaugh will be tempted to leave Michigan for Broncos if the right money is on the table.

Jim Harbaugh is expected to leave Michigan for the NFL if he is offered a job, per @BruceFeldmanCFB, @NicoleAuerbach and @byAustinMeek https://t.co/KLlD7HSFQC

Here's what Colin Cowherd said about Jim Harbaugh's future on his podcast:

"So report's now that Harbaugh leading candidate for the new owners, the Walmart family for the Denver Broncos job. Multiple people I trust say if he's offered 20 million a year he'll take it. I wish he would stay at Michigan, where he would continue to be connected to college football but at 20 million?"

Cowherd added:

"Michigan, a couple of years ago asked him to take a pay cut. I get it he'll move to the NFL and I do think he's uniquely built for the kind of football Denver needs to play with that current roster to beat Mahomes and beat a Herbert."

He continued:

"Bully ball, build an O-line. Ask like it did Kaepernick, Alex Smith, Andrew Luck, ask quarterback Russell Wilson to run a little bit. It's really built for Harbaugh's style of football."

The Denver Broncos had a very disappointing season and parted ways with first-year head coach Nathaniel Hackett. Russell Wilson has looked awful since getting traded from the Seattle Seahawks, and the new head coach will be required to bring Wilson back to his usual production.

The job is tough, but this is the right opportunity for Jim Harbaugh to get his respect back in the NFL. Apart from the Broncos, the Carolina Panthers have also shown interest in Harbaugh.

Before heading back to college football, Jim Harbaugh had a pretty decent stint with the San Francisco 49ers in the NFL. He had a record of 44-19-1 with the 49ers.

Jim Harbaugh returning to the NFL to resuscitate Russell Wilson’s career would blow 2012-14 Mina’s mind

The 49ers also reached a Super Bowl with Harbaugh and Colin Kaepernick but they eventually lost to the Baltimore Ravens. As things indicate, it seems like Harbaugh will be back in the NFL next season, and football fans should be excited about it.
