JJ Watt praises Taylor Swift’s "insane" work ethic that puts NFL players to shame
Many NFL celebrities praised Taylor Swift after attending her Eras Tour this year, including Arizona Cardinals star JJ Watt. He recently recalled her visit to Swift's concert. While talking about her experience at the show, Watt praised the Blank Space singer's work ethic.
Watt appeared on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Wednesday, and the Cardinals star talked about his "unbelievable" experience at Eras Tour. Watt compared Swift's work ethic with that of NFL players and said:
"I went to the first one, the first one in America, and it was unbelievable ... the duration is stunning, it's insane and maybe it's longer now, when I did it it was like three and a half hours long."
"I mean we're talking straight, max 10 minutes break, it just pure singing, dancing, moving ... every damn night back to back. We play a game, we get four days rest, we're pissed like 'alright we need a long break.' this is back to back every night."
Apart from Watt, Los Angeles Rams star Matthew Stafford attended the Eras Tour in New Orleans last month with his family. Interestingly, the quarterback met the "All Too Well" singer's dad, Scott Swift, and chatted with him at the concert.
Matthew Stafford had a 'dude-to-dude' chat with Taylor Swift
In last week's episode of "The Morning After" podcast, Matthew Stafford's wife Kelly recapped her visit to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour with family. Sharing her experience, Kelly revealed how Matthew and Scott Swift had a great conversation at the concert.
“Matthew talked to the dad for a bit. He was very, very kind. He’s a good-looking guy and very, very nice. Him and Matthew kind of hit it off because [Stafford] was watching the Dodgers game in the World Series, as well as watching Taylor. They were kind of checking in with each other dude-to-dude," she said. (18:17)
Moving forward in the podcast, Kelly Stafford also delved into the backlash she received for attending the Eras Tour concert.
