Jonathan Owens' proud kiss as wife Simone Biles shatters records with another Gold medal at Paris Olympics
Bears star Jonathan Owens is celebrating his wife Simone Biles' historical achievement in the Olympics 2024 in Paris. On Tuesday, Biles won gold for the USA in gymnastics during the ongoing Olympics in France. The gymnast's husband was there to support her.
The couple ended their day with celebrations for Biles' another gold in a bar. The Bears star shared pictures from their celebrations on Instagram, in which he could be seen kissing Biles while showing off her medal. Along with the pictures, Owens wrote:
"Witnessing history every time you step on the mat Congrats baby on becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history!!!! Just wow!!!! 8 of them!!!!! So thankful i was there to see it."
Reacting to the Instagram post, Simone Biles commented:
"my whole heart. i love you."
On Tuesday, Jonathan Owens made an appearance during the women's team gymnastics event, cheering for his wife, Simone Biles. As Owens cheered for Biles in the arena, he shared clips from the event on his Instagram story (the Ig Story has disappeared after 24 hours).
"Gold medal baby!!!!!!" Owens said as Biles clinched gold.
Owens attended the Olympics event with Biles' parents, wearing a t-shirt with the gymnast's picture on it. With this incredible achievement, Simone Biles has become the only American athlete in the history of gymnastics to have won the most medals at the Olympics.
Jonathan Owens sends sweet message to wife Simone Biles before Olympics win
Before making his way to Paris and supporting his wife, Simone Biles, Jonathan Owens shared a sweet message via Good Morning Football on his Instagram. The media outlet, along with the Bears star, shared a video well-wishing the gymnast for the Paris Olympics.
"Baby, I can't wait to see you. A couple more days and I'll be there. So congrats, and best of luck," Owens said.
Jonathan Owens is currently on Bears-approved leave to Paris to support his wife Simone Biles in the Olympics. The event is definitely special for Owens and Bears, and they made sure their safety would not miss it. The leave lasts from July 29 to August 3, with August 4 being Owens' expected return deadline.
