Jordan Love reflects on Packers' mistakes after close Week 7 game vs Texans

Jordan Love and the Green Bay Packers pulled off a 24-22 win over the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon. The quarterback had moments of sensational play as well as plays that he for sure wanted back. The latter included two interceptions in the first half.

After the win, Love spoke to reporters about the win and how he learned a lot during the game. He said learning from his mistakes and moving past it is what gave the team a chance late in the game.

Jordan Love also said that he is continuing to grow, which comes with the territory as a young quarterback in the NFL.

“You just gotta play the game. You’ve gotta go out there and play it. You can’t try and not be aggressive and take checkdowns all day. You’ve got to be out there and be aggressive and go win those games. I’m always going to play the way I play, and learn from mistakes, and grow from them.”-Jordan Love said.

Love drove the Green Bay Packers offense down the field late in the game for an eight-play, 44-yard drive which led to Brandon McManus' game-winning 45-yard field goal.

Love is in just his second season as the Packers' starting quarterback but is already proving that he was the right choice to take over the offensive reigns after Aaron Rodgers.

The Green Bay Packers' win over the Houston Texans came on the same day that theri NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings suffered their first loss in a divisional matchup, to the Detroit Lions.

Jordan Love credited 'chemistry' with teammates for outstanding plays

Jordan Love has thrown 47 touchdown passes since the start of the 2023 NFL season. No other quarterback in the NFL has thrown more.

During Sunday's Week 7 matchup against the Houston Texans, Love struggled in the first half. But, in the second half, he locked in and trusted his abilities as a quarterback to lead his team to victory.

After the game, Love told Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer that he was able to make plays when the Packers needed it most because of the relationship he has with his offense.

“That’s the trust, chemistry. It really is those guys making plays.”-Love said.

In Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, Love completed 24 of 33 passes for a total of 220 yards and three touchdown passes.
