Jordan Love opened up about first meeting with fiancée Ronika Stone
Before their engagement, Jordan Love and Ronika Stone kept their romance private and away from media attention. The Packers quarterback revealed his first meeting with the volleyball athlete during an interview with "NFL on NBC" in September.
"My roommate in college, Mill Walker, they went to high school together and they were best friends. So he would FaceTime her when we were in college, and I'd be in the background, and he'd be like, 'Yo say what's up my boy right here'. It started off slow. Just saying 'What's up'. And then you know, I started taking the phone," Love said.
"And we'd be having our little one-on-one conversations. We never met. It just be on FaceTime. I was in California training, and she was there for her birthday, visiting her friends. And saw she posted something, and he was like, 'Yo, Ronica's in Cali. You got to hit her up'. So I did, and we linked up, and literally, the rest is history," Love added. (10:41)
Jordan Love is one of the handful of athletes who actively contribute to charity. In fact, Love recently gave back to his community on Thanksgiving through his "Hands of 10ve" foundation.
