Jordan Poyer longs for wife Rachel Bush as she relishes Italian getaway during Dolphins' training camp
Jordan Poyer is currently in Miami, practicing with the Miami Dolphins as they seek their first Super Bowl title since the dominant days of Larry Csonka in the 1970s. But someone has been missing from his side all this time - his wife Rachel Bush.
The model is currently vacationing in Italy, and on Sunday she provided a photo update in an Instagram post:
Bush shared some photos of her night out in a restaurant in Sicily. She was wearing a floral strapless dress as she posed for a few snaps. She also took a couple of photos of the food she sampled at the Sicilian spot, which had an overlooking view of the sea.
The former Buffalo Bills safety had just one request for her:
Bush has been on vacation in Italy for the last week. She went off to Capri with some of her girlfriends and posted some of their photos on her Instagram stories.
Other NFL women react to Jordan Poyer's wife Rachel Bush vacationing in Italy
But Poyer wasn't the only noteworthy person reacting to the post. Some of Bush's fellow NFL WAGs also made (largely positive) comments, like Amanda Hyde (nee Kamiksisian), the wife of Poyer's former teammate Micah Hyde:
She also got praise from former tight end Lee Smith's wife Alisha:
Speaking of tight ends and former teammates, Dawson Knox's wife Alexandra also shared her joy:
Among the women within his current team, this was the response of running back Raheem Mostert's wife Devon:
Another intrateam reaction came from Lauren "Lolo" Wood, girlfriend of wideout Odell Beckham Jr.:
Jordan Poyer wants to change narrative around Dolphins
Back in Miami, Jordan Poyer is refining his covering and tackling techniques, all while his wife is relaxing elsewhere. He knows the team very well, having faced off against them multiple times in both the regular season and playoffs.
So far, he has had a very blunt assessment of the Dolphins, which he wants to change not that he is wearing their uniform. Speaking last week during practice, he said:
"Playing against this team over the past few years, you kind of get a sense of, 'OK, if you get on top of this team, they might fold.' ...The game is going to come down to the last series, the last play, so just keep playing and don't get stuck into that play that you didn't make.
"Being able to stick together through those adverse moments, through those ups, those downs and just staying on that line all the way through the season," Poyer said per NFL.com
The Dolphins' Super Bowl quest begins against the intrastate rival Jacksonville Jaguars on September 8.
