Jordan Poyer's wife Rachel Bush calls out NFL referees for officiating during Dolphins game
Miami Dolphins safety Jordan Poyer's wife, Rachel Bush, was unhappy with the officials during the Week 3 game against the Seattle Seahawks. Without quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, the Dolphins suffered a 24-3 loss against the Seattle Seahawks.
The game featured several controversial calls, including a couple of illegal formation penalties against the Dolphins on back-to-back plays in the first half. This prompted coach Mike McDaniel to lose his call and yell at the officials.
Rachel Bush, who has over 4.1 million followers on Instagram, also called out the referees.
"Why do these refs hate Miami today," Bush wrote on Twitter.
Many fans agreed with Bush, convinced that the referees were against their team in general.
Rachel Bush cheered on Jordan Poyer before he started his 2024 season with the Dolphins
Poyer started a new chapter of his life with the Miami Dolphins this year. The safety played for the Buffalo Bills from 2017-2023, making his move to Florida a big deal for the entire family.
Before the 2024 season kicked off, Bush gushed over Poyer's new Dolphins gear, while also hyping him on reaching the NFL Top 100 list once again.
"How many years in a row?!," Bush wrote on her Instagram story. "You go rockstar!! Love you!! What an accomplishment [Jordan Poyer]."
In an earlier post, Bush turned emotional as she captured Poyer's essence in Buffalo and the impact he had on the community.
"I don't have the words yet but they are coming (along with so many photo memories). Right now I just want my husband to know what a leader and inspiration he is. The impact he made will always be remembered. Both within the football world and outside as well."
As per Bush, Poyer helped change the culture in Buffalo.
