Jordan Poyer's wife Rachel Bush shares emotional message after Donald Trump's attempted assassination: "Every American should be united"
On Saturday, former President Donald Trump was involved in an attempted assassination at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The incident was caught on camera, sending social media and Trump supporters in a frenzy.
Multiple celebrities spoke up, even sharing photos and clips from the rally to make their point.
In an Instagram story, Rachel Bush — married to Miami Dolphins star Jordan Poyer — shared her view on the incident.
Calling to all fellow Americans, Bush wrote how she hoped everyone would speak over what was happening, especially against an assassination attempt.
"United we should stand. Every American today should have something to say or at least be sharing their condolences. If you're going to continue on about your day, posting whatever on IG currently, acting like you can't share a post because a former President has been labeled as a 'controversial figure', know that you are living history. As an American you should not be silent on this matter..no matter what 'side' you are on," Bush wrote.
Adding on to the same, Bush made a plea for unity at a time of adversity.
"Every American should be united currently sharing their condolences and showing love for their country. Now more than ever, everyone needs to be united..nobody needs to be pointing fingers."
Rachel even shared her words on Twitter, pointing to a few people wishing death upon someone.
The social media was flooded with conspiracy theories and allegations about what actually happened. Rachel Bush comes across as a voice of reason in these times of distress for the nation.
Jordan Poyer's wife Rachel Bush once revealed she was 'sad' for Joe Biden
Active on both Instagram and Twitter, Rachel Bush has remained candid while expressing her views, political or not. Sometimes controversial, Bush has always managed to voice her opinion on social media.
Reacting to the disastrous performance of US President Joe Biden in his first debate with Donald Trump, Bush claimed that he isn't in fit shape to run the country. She claimed that strings are being pulled from behind.
"How long are we going to pretend and act like Biden is the one running the country. I honestly just feel sad for him. He's not choosing to be there, just a puppet and last night should have all Americans asking questions as to what is really going on here."
Apart from Bush, other names from the NFL world to speak up on the attempted assassination of Trump include Antonio Brown, Robert Griffin III, Sauce Garnder and Tyreek Hill.
