Jordan Poyer's wife Rachel Bush takes light-hearted aim at fans whining over Miami Dolphins' 20-12 loss to Texans
Miami Dolphins safety Jordan Poyer's wife, Rachel Bush, threw shade at fans still grappling with the team's 20-12 loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday.
She quipped how people, including herself, can get so emotionally invested in an NFL game while there were so many more important issues to deal with.
“It’s really funny to me that we have all this going on in the world right now, and we’re just like, ‘Dang, our football team lost.’ Lmaoo. I’m right there with you guys, but...," her post on X read.
The Houston Texans forced four turnovers, sacked Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa three times and capitalized on miscues to seal their ninth win of the season.
Tagovailoa finished with 196 yards, a touchdown and three picks, ending his streak of 184 passes without an interception.
Miami Dolphins’ playoff hopes fade after defeat to Texans
As per the New York Times' advanced simulations, the Miami Dolphins have a 6% chance of making the postseason. With a 6-8 record, the team is in a precarious position.
In the final three games, the Dolphins will face the San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns and New York Jets. They need to win all three games to keep their playoff hopes alive.
However, winning out will not guarantee a postseason berth as their fate largely depends on how other AFC teams perform.
