Josh Allen is benefiting from 'strong' Hailee Steinfeld's presence, claims Bills OL Dion Dawkins

Josh Allen has had an impressive season with the Buffalo Bills as they sit with an 11-3 record with three games remaining. Allen's life, on and off the field, is flourishing, and one of his teammates credited his relationship with Hailee Steinfeld for his success.

On Wednesday, Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins shared his thoughts on the Buffalo Bill's "Buffalo Plus" coverage of how having a supportive partner is a key to being successful. He said that Josh Allen is truly having fun while playing football and the credit should go to Steinfeld for supporting him.

"Josh is having fun. We're having fun watching him. When you have a strong female behind you and when you're in the right mental space. I've gone home and everything is peaceful and going back to your phone and seeing a heart in your cellphone. There's something about it. He's having fun because everything around him is right," Dion Dawkins on Buffalo Plus.

Dion Dawkins said that he knows from his own experience that when an athlete has a strong support system at home the weight of football success feels a little lighter. The Bills have just three games remaining and are the number two overall seed in the AFC behind the Kansas City Chiefs.

Josh Allen credited fiancee Hailee Steinfeld for his MVP-caliber season

In 14 games this season, quarterback Josh Allen has thrown for 3,395 passing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 484 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns. Allen is making a case for himself in terms of NFL MVP this season.

On Wednesday, the 28-year-old quarterback told the Associated Press that his fiancee, Hailee Steinfeld, has been an integral part of his success this season. Allen credited the singer and actress for her support on and off the field. Steinfeld attends Buffalo Bills' games but keeps her attendance down low in hopes of not taking the attention away from the quarterback and his team.

“She’s been a huge part. The morale, the support. When I get home, she’s my biggest fan, my biggest supporter. She’s just the best," Allen told the Associated Press.

The Buffalo Bills quarterback and Hailee Steinfeld began dating in the spring of 2023. During the Bills' bye week, on Nov. 22, Allen proposed to Steinfeld.
