Josh Allen reveals circumstances behind ‘You b*#ch, f*#k you’ interaction with Patrick Mahomes

Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes are the two best quarterbacks in the AFC and the NFL. The pair have led their respective teams to the playoffs many times in the last five seasons, and the Chiefs and Bills have become two of the best teams in the AFC.

While Mahomes has the advantage in head-to-head victories against Allen and the Bills and has three Super Bowl victories, Allen has yet to replicate that success.

Appearing on Green Light with Chris Long, a former NFL defensive end, Allen was asked if he watched the Last Dance documentary highlighting Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls' success. Allen was asked if he felt like he was trying to rewrite that story of being Larry Bird as Mahomes was compared to Jordan by Long.

Allen answered:

"Funny enough because ‘The Last Dance’ came out before that season right that Covid year. And you know Larry Bird goes up to MJ, ‘You b*tch, f*ck you’. I saw him in the locker room and I did the same thing. I was like, ‘What the hell’."

Mahomes was drafted in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Meanwhile, Allen was drafted in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. The two may be competitors but they are close friends outside of football.

As mentioned above, Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes are two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL.

Since Allen was drafted in 2018, he's led the Bills to five straight playoff appearances while amassing a 63-30 regular-season record. He has a 5-5 playoff record but hasn't gotten past the AFC Championship game.

Mahomes and the Chiefs have made seven straight playoff appearances. He has an impressive post-season record of 15-3 and has won three Super Bowls while appearing in four.

The two star AFC quarterbacks have faced each other seven times. Mahomes has bragging rights for now, as he holds a 4-3 overall record against the Bills and Allen.

Jos Allen's Bills tend to do better against the Chiefs in the regular season, as they hold a 3-1 regular season record against KC. In the playoffs, it's a much different story. The Chiefs are a perfect 4-0 against the Bills in the post-season.

The two will square off on November 17 this year.
