Josh Allen’s sister pens heartwarming message as Bills bow out of NFL playoffs
Josh Allen had a tremendous season under center for the Buffalo Bills as he was named an NFL MVP finalist for the third consecutive season and the fourth time in five years. His quest to lead the franchise to their first Super Bowl trophy came to an end on Sunday, however, as the Bills fell to the Kansas City Chiefs by a final score of 32-29 in the AFC Championship Game.
His sister, Nicala Madden, took to her Instagram story to share a message for the star quarterback. She reshared a post from the Bills' official Instagram where Allen stated:
"Bills Mafia is the best fan base in the world. We're going to continue to do everything possible so we can bring a Lombardi Trophy back to Buffalo for them."
Madden added:
"Our MVP ❤️ 💙 No one deserves it more than #17! We love you and are beyond proud 🫶 @joshallenqb"

Josh Allen played well as he finished with 237 passing yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions. He completed 64.7% of his pass attempts while adding 39 rushing yards on 11 carries. Ultimately, however, it was not enough as he saw his season come to an end at the hands of the Chiefs for the fourth time in five years.
Pat McAfee believes Josh Allen picked up first down on controversial call
The AFC Championship Game was not without controversy as fans were upset with the spot of the ball given to Josh Allen on a fourth down quarterback sneak. Pat McAfee recently shared that he believes the Buffalo Bills star picked up the first down, adding that he also felt Dalton Kincaid picked up the first down on the previous play.
He noted, however, that the referees will not overturn a spot of ball call made on the field, tweeting:
"The conversation this morning is ALL about the Chiefs and the refs.. I believe Josh Allen and Dalton Kincaid got the first down.. Whenever they call it no first down on the field they're never gonna overturn it.. PEOPLE ARE P*SSED #PMSLive"

The call brought plenty of controversy as the Chiefs gained possession and drove down the field to take the lead. While the Bills were able to tie things up, ultimately, the spot of the ball wound up costing them as they fell just short of reaching the Super Bowl for the first time since losing four straight between 1990 and 1993.
